  • proFiles of women in the academy: faculty (including adjuncts), staff, students, administrators, higher ed. activists, policy makers, movers and shakers. This can include interviews or well-researched historical profiles. Please include a photo of your subject.

  • Hot Spots: Analysis of controversial issues on campuses and in higher ed in general.

  • Curves: First person stories of the hobbies, side gigs, and other roles that make us well rounded and holistic.

  • Teach. Learn. Live: Female experiences in the classroom, either first-person stories or reported pieces.

  • Love and logic: First-person narratives and analysis on the good, the bad, and the ugly of relationships of all kinds.

  • Snap: Stories by and for female undergraduate students (we’re pretty open; show us what you’ve got!)

  • proFabroad: Women in higher education around the world.

  • proFstyle: On-campus style reports, fashion and lifestyle hacks.

  • proFood: Recipes and food writing.

  • proFleisure: Travel and leisure writing.

  • proFpop: Film, music, literature (popular) reviews, and interviews.

  • artproF: News about women in art, exhibition reviews & previews.

  • litproF: Poetry or flash fiction (1500 words or fewer) relating loosely to women and/or higher ed.
