I love my dogs and my dogs love me (snacks). There was a minute there in 2016 when I made all my dogfood at home…but that got old. One thing that did stick, though, was homemade puppy treats. I bought some little dog biscuit cookie cutters and went to town on those treats. Soon, of course, the cookie cutters went out the window (do dogs know or care what shape their food is in? I think you can guess the answer.) But what’s left is a super easy dog treat that I’m still willing to make because they’re simple, they’re quick and they’re a total pup-pleaser.
Fill your doggy stockings with these treats this holiday season! Your dogs will love you more for all the effort you put into a homemade gift. (That’s not true, but you’ll feel good about yourself – and that’s what counts!)
